The Jewish Religious Court in Baghdad had issued a judgment
in person on 2/11/944 for the plaintiff Sabiha Rahmin Ali Moshi Rahmin
the guardian of her minor son Moshi Naji from her husband Moshi Daoud Ballas, ruling
to recover an amount of 422/750 four hundred and twenty-two dinars and seven hundred
and fifty fils, which is the amount of her entitlement from her dowry stipulated for her in addition
to the estate of her deceased husband. When the other heirs were notified of the issued judgment, it became clear
that there is another daughter named Tuffaha Stella, who is from his second wife Naima
daughter of Ezra Sofer, and she has no guardian or trustee. The aforementioned plaintiff Sabiha
has requested the appointment of a guardian for the mentioned girl to carry out the notification and the subsequent
litigation on her behalf. Therefore, the court found that the minor's maternal uncle, named Naeem
Ezra Sofer, is fit for guardianship over her. Accordingly, it decided to refer the matter to your
respected court to take what you deem appropriate in this regard.

Request
Regarding what the esteemed body has settled upon in the matter of
the petitioner who claims a connection to the person named Philip who was residing in this place
She attended and requested her marriage certificate to him according to her contract dated 7/11/1932 in the Syriac Church
in Basra, as she claims that her aforementioned husband had registered his marriage at the British Consulate in Basra
and a passport was issued for him from Baghdad under number 057 / 661 and requested based on
that a guarantee for her so she can go to him in England from the Consular Committee and requested placing his name in the register
of marriage in the department, and since her identity is in the name of Philip attached. And since the aforementioned has died and she has
a daughter from him in England named Nora and she is requesting assistance in obtaining her legitimate and legal rights
from his inheritance as she has documents proving all of that and she has a desire to travel to England
to see her daughter, noting that the Consulate in Baghdad requires from her a marriage certificate certified by you
and since her contract was lost during the Second World War, we therefore hope to provide her
with her marriage certificate and confirmation of her marriage to him. So that she may follow up with the competent departments in London
. Waiting for the answer so that we can take the necessary action in this regard
