His Eminence Rabbi Sassoon Khedhouri, President of the Jewish Community in Baghdad, submitted a request to the Ministry
of Interior to open a subscription for the amount of fifty thousand dinars to be allocated for the benefit of Palestinian refugees in Iraq
and to aid the wounded of the brave Iraqi army, to be collected by a committee formed for this purpose in Baghdad within two months.
