1- Entrance examinations for entry into the fourth preparatory grade (Scientific and Literary only) begin on
Saturday, June 23, 956, according to the schedule shown below.

1- The entrance exam is held twice a year (the first in June and the second in September at a time
determined by the High Committee for Examinations.
2- The following are accepted in the second session of the entrance exam: (a) Those who passed the second session of school exams
(b) Those who have to re-sit subjects from the first session of the entrance exams (c) Those who postponed the entrance exams
for the first session with a medical report.
3- Whoever fails one of the two subjects in the first session of the entrance exams is considered to have to re-sit.
4- Whoever fails both subjects in the entrance exam is considered to have failed.
5- The minimum passing grade in the entrance exams is (60) sixty

Since the studies in our school actually began at the start of the school year on
October 10 / 955 instead of mid-September due to the religious holidays which
ended on 10 / 9 / 1955, this resulted in some delay in completing the subjects of
History and Geography for the third intermediate grade. The remaining part of the history curriculum
which we are unable to complete before the final exam is the history of Iraq in
the Ottoman era (i.e., the first chapter only). As for the Geography lesson, what remains of it
is North Africa.
