Further to our letter No. 12861 dated 1956/5/15.
-1 We have decided that the individuals listed in the attached list shall perform proctoring in private
intermediate schools, provided they receive proctoring fees from the private schools they proctor in at a rate of
four hundred fils for each lesson in which students are examined. Their proctoring duty will be as an aid and assistance to
the teachers of the official intermediate schools who are assigned by their school administrations to proctor in the private
schools they are responsible for.
-2 Due to the overcrowding of Faisal Intermediate School for Boys from Al-Mansur Intermediate School for Boys, it has been decided to conduct
the examinations for the students of the National Service Intermediate School in the building of the official Karkh Secondary School, and
that the students of the Teachers' Association Intermediate School in Karkh shall be in the building of Al-Mansur Intermediate School for Boys.
-3 Since the male and female students of Dar Al-Salam Private Intermediate School celebrate the Sabbath
creed and their religion forbids them from working on Saturday, it has been decided to postpone the examination of the students of
Al-Jaafariyah Intermediate for Boys and the students of Al-Karkh Intermediate for Girls—the two responsible for the male and female students of this
school—on Saturday, 1956/5/26, to the following day, and so on; provided that the students of
Dar Al-Salam Private Intermediate be examined in the same Al-Jaafariyah Intermediate for Boys due to their small number.
-4 Primary schools whose teachers participate in proctoring must finish their examinations by
1956/5/21 if possible.
-5 Teachers who perform proctoring in schools other than their own must deposit their exam questions with
the administrations of the schools they belong to, so that they can be read to the students during the exam by
the other teachers of the school.
-6 Examinations begin at eight o'clock in the morning starting from Tuesday, May 22,
1956, and continue until ten o'clock every day throughout the examination period. Proctors
and supervisors are requested to be present at least half an hour before the exam time, and are also requested to visit the headmaster of
the official school responsible for the private school one day before the exam to receive the necessary instructions.
