Administrative Order
(1) It has been decided to conduct the final examinations for the third intermediate classes for the second session of the year 56 / 1957
for official and private schools for boys and girls at eight o'clock on the morning of Saturday, corresponding to
24 / 8 / 1957, for a period of six days, provided that male and female students of private schools are examined in the official
schools indicated next to their schools according to the attached lists. The official schools will be responsible
for managing the examinations for private schools and the male and female external students affiliated with them, and the
official school is the one that sets the questions.
(2) Private school administrations must send lists of the names of students who have incomplete grades to the official school
administrations responsible for them.
(3) Official school administrations must demand from private school students and external students
the examination entry permits that were provided to them in the first session.
(4) We attach with this order of ours a list of the number of students with incomplete grades in each subject for private schools.
(5) Administrations of official and private intermediate schools for boys and girls shall submit lists of the names of students
who passed in both sessions from the third intermediate classes (i.e., those who finished intermediate studies)
classified into scientific and literary according to the desire of the male and female student, at a date not exceeding two days after
the completion of the makeup examinations for the students of the mentioned classes and send them to this Directorate. Any
delay causes the students to be deprived of participating in the entrance exam and leads to the responsibility of the school
administration.

Subject / Entrance Exam for Preparatory Schools
1- It has been decided that the entrance exam for preparatory schools will be held once a year, specifically in September, at a date
determined by the Presidency of the High Committee for the Administration of General Exams, following the school make-up exams
for the third intermediate grades.
2- The exam subjects remain as before - Scientific Branch - two papers. The first in Mathematics (including Arithmetic,
Geometry, and Algebra from the intermediate study curricula) and the second in Natural Sciences (including Physics
and Chemistry from the intermediate study curricula).
Literary Branch - two papers. The first in Arabic Language (from the intermediate study curricula) and the second
in Social Studies (History and Geography only from the intermediate study curricula).
3- The passing grade in each subject remains (60) sixty. The student must pass both subjects, otherwise they are considered

1- It has been decided that the entrance exam for preparatory schools will be held once a year, specifically in September, at a time
determined by the Presidency of the Higher Committee for Managing General Examinations, following the school make-up exams
for the third intermediate classes.
2- The exam subjects remain as before - Scientific Branch - two papers. The first in Mathematics (includes Arithmetic,
Geometry, and Algebra from the intermediate study curricula) and the second in Natural Sciences (includes Physics
and Chemistry from the intermediate study curricula).
Literary Branch - two papers. The first in Arabic Language (from the intermediate study curricula) and the second
in Social Studies (History and Geography only from the intermediate study curricula).
3- The passing grade for each subject remains (60) sixty. The student must pass both subjects, otherwise they are considered
