Secondary Schools Regulation No. (60) of 1968, as amended by the
Secondary Schools Regulation Amendment No. (63) of 1969 regarding absences

attendance marks for each day the student is absent without a legitimate excuse, and the student's absence for every four
separate lessons is considered equivalent to one day's absence from school, and the student is considered failing in
his grade if fifty-one points or more are deducted from his attendance, provided that his guardian is notified
when ten points or more are deducted and is inquired about the reasons for the absence, and the student may not
participate in the final examination if his absences exceed forty-five school days
regardless of the excuses."

her not to interrupt attendance in the future.
