Announcement
Subject / Student Punishment
In view of the following students leaving the classroom without permission on Thursday, 13 / 5 / 71
The school administration decided, based on the request of the specialized teacher Mr. Nasser Al-Diwani, to deduct five marks from
the conduct average of each of:-
1- Eli Robin Ezra Qashqoush
2- Hayim Elias Ibrahim Dannous
3- Saleh Shaul Baruch Nissan
4- Qutaiba Abdul Sattar Tawfiq Al-Dallal
And they are from the Fourth General Grade
It was also decided to deduct ten marks from the conduct average of the student Violet Hayawi Ezra Al-Sarraf, who is
from the Fourth Commercial Preparatory Grade for the same reason and because she is the class monitor.
This is with the knowledge that five marks had previously been deducted from the conduct average of the student Hayim Elias Ibrahim
Dannous on 26 / 10 / 1970, and therefore the total marks deducted from his conduct average
has reached ten marks.
Also, ten marks had previously been deducted from the conduct average of the student Qutaiba Abdul Sattar Tawfiq Al-Dallal on
27 / 10 / 1970, and another ten marks were also deducted from his conduct average on 15 / 4 / 71
and therefore the total marks deducted from his conduct average has reached twenty-five marks.
Note that a student is considered to have failed his grade if 51% or more is deducted from his conduct marks.

didates and the University will not, except in its absolute discretion,

At this level grades A, B, C, D and E are grades of pass in des-
cending order of merit, reading from left to right, and grade F,

subject as a whole, including the practical test; to the right of this
appears the grade given in the practical test only.
Ordinary Level
At this level grades A, C and E are grades of pass in descending
Where a candidate has entered for both Pure Mathematics and
Applied Mathematics an alternative Advanced level pass in

in Paper 1 of each subject reaches the required standard. An alt-
ernative Advanced level pass in Mathematics (Pure and Applied)
will not be awarded to a candidate absent from any paper of Pure
Mathematics or Applied Mathematics.

certain schools in West Africa. For candidates from these schools
there are two grades in French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish.

the oral test; to the right of this appears the grade given in the oral
test only. The oral grades are A, B, C, D, E, O and F. Failure in the
oral test does not necessarily indicate failure in the subject as a whole.
