movement, have transformed religious sentiment into
political and economic interests. They took the
invasion of Palestine as a means to establish the alleged
Israel, which is the nucleus of the Jewish state that
must extend after a while to the Euphrates, then
expand until it includes the Arab homeland or most
of its parts. These are aspirations declared by the leaders of
Zionism, who have accustomed us to implementing what they promise,
unlike what we are used to from political leaders in

end of the First World War, they have become the most
exploitative of Iraq's resources and its people, and the least
performing of any obligation. It has become clear that they
are the most knowledgeable people in avoiding every tax,
and the most capable of exploiting influential
Iraqis and using them to facilitate Jewish interest
at the expense of the Iraqi treasury!
And during the last war, Mr.
(Beals) was not ashamed to record in an official report
his bias for this Jewry, indicating the necessity of
granting supply licenses to those he considers
closer to the Allied front! And it did not
occur to Beals or those even more cunning than him
that the Jews would insult the English and lash them
severely in Palestine, then take it as a base
for a tyrannical power that no one can estimate
the extent of its great evils on all
humanity!
One of the results of that policy
followed in supply during the war was that
Jewish paupers and boys became importing
merchants! They found from some Jewish and foreign banks
the greatest encouragement; "credit" was granted easily
to the Jew, who would pay a small percentage of it, while
non-Jewish Iraqis were required to pay one hundred
percent of the value of the imported goods! Iraq
alone stood with this miserable situation, while
Arab governments, whether in Egypt
or especially in Syria, were keen to open the way
for loyal citizens to carry out imports, the licenses
for which were granted to many classes of them until
wealth was distributed among the sons of the country and remained
therein; what escaped from it was not like what escaped of Iraq's
monetary wealth via the Zionist Jews!
Shortly before and during the last war,
most of the wealthy Jews resorted to
leaving Iraq and established trade centers
for themselves in Palestine, Lebanon, and other Arab
countries, and in India, Britain, America,
and other parts of the world. But these
retained commercial premises in Iraq
in their names to ensure the smuggling of monetary wealth,
and they still today receive a not
insignificant share of import and export licenses!
How often we drew attention to the danger of granting these
licenses to Jews whose intention became clear
to cause financial and economic disruption
in Iraq, especially since many of them moved
to invade Arab Palestine. It has become clear
that Jews attributed to Iraq have the greatest
share of activity and impact in forming
this hostile state, strengthening it, and its survival,
and the story of (Adas) is not a distant event that

We do not know why successive governments refused

From the first day it was recognized by some great powers,
the alleged Israel was
instructing the Jews in Palestine to refuse
to buy anything offered for sale by the Arabs,
at a time when the Arabs saw no escape but to leave
their homeland to get rid of persecution and shame!

Depriving of Iraqi Nationality No. 62 of the year

the right of the Iraqi government to revoke the Iraqi
nationality of a Jew (1) who wishes
by his own choice to leave Iraq permanently (2)
who leaves Iraq or attempts to leave it
illegally (3) who previously
left Iraq illegally, then

from the date of implementation.

Ezra Menachem justifies and anesthetizes!
Yesterday, we published—intentionally—the words of the Senator
Ezra Menachem Daniel on the occasion of the presentation of the "Bill
supplementing the Decree of Revocation of Iraqi Nationality,"
so that public opinion at home and abroad may know
what the "Israeli" member says in
the Senate!
Senator Ezra Menachem admitted that this
bill was submitted "to limit the disturbance
resulting from the illegal (emigration)
which has begun to expand day after day, and that is
by stripping Iraqi nationality from those who wish
to leave the country permanently." Then he added, "this
measure addresses one aspect of the situation
of the Jews of Iraq"!
We must admit, in our turn, that the Senator
Ezra appeared, by not objecting to the
stripping of nationality and not denying the disturbance
caused by the Jews in Iraq, in the guise
of the fair-minded! But why was the speech so pleasant? Was it
to acknowledge this disturbance and to admit that it
was necessary to strip the nationality of the Jews who
caused it and who "emigrated" from Iraq
to hostile Israel—an emigration that we call
"invasion" aimed at gathering with
the enemies on what they usurped of our dear
homeland's land? No! Rather, the Senator spoke and offered

outside the capital and some major cities, instead

and permanent luxury. For example, Jewish doctors
insisted on defying orders, and most of them knew

As for government schools, they are crowded

Ezra want to expel the needy sons of the people
to replace them with the luxurious Jews?!
Whatever the audacity of the "Israeli" member
in the Senate against the truth, can he deny
that wealthy Jews have always and mostly
chosen "emigration" from Iraq as soon as
they accumulate a large fortune from what they drain
from the blood and livelihoods of the Iraqi people?

many privileges in importing and exporting?

and then to other borders of our threatened homeland,
afflicted by Israeli ambitions.
And here is Senator Ezra Menachem talking
about the relationship of Jews with Iraq in the language of
"Ben-Gurion" when he used to talk about the relationship

means and thanks to (gold), we throw groups of workers into the alleys at the same time,

since childhood, so they shed their blood and loot their money) and this is all the Jews want!!
So caution, caution against their hellish plan, and refrain, refrain from accepting consensual

the Rent Control Law has not yet come,
and its invalidation or abolition is something that would
cause the greatest harm, as it could be a reason
for public outcry as long as the nightmare of

classes, especially in such
unusual circumstances that the world is currently
passing through. The claim that real estate rental
rates have decreased is untrue and does not align
with reality, just as the occurrence of some activity in
the construction movement has not affected that, and

as evidence for enacting this law, because

The late Dawood Attia responded to the call of his Lord last Friday morning
at the age of seventy-five following a terminal illness.
His body was escorted to the Sheikh Omar cemetery
in a large procession. May God cover him with His vast mercy
and inspire his family and relatives with patience and solace.
And he passed to the mercy of his Lord at
five-thirty yesterday evening,
the late Abdul Latif Abdul Baqi, brother of
Messrs. Abdul Karim, Al-Hajj Ali Abdul
Majeed, and Al-Hajj Abdul Razzaq, sons of Abdul
Baqi. His body was escorted to its final resting place
in Najaf Al-Ashraf, and the Fatiha ceremony is held
for the soul of the deceased at the house of his brother, Mr.
Abdul Karim Abdul Baqi, owner of the Iraqi Carpentry
Factory located in Karradat Maryam,
numbered 2D - 7 near the Iranian Embassy
on Mansour Street, starting from
three o'clock in the afternoon on Monday,
March 6, 1950.
A Tragedy
Under this title, Mr. Qasim
Muhammad Jadi, a student at the College of Commerce
and Economics, wrote to console and offer condolences to his professor,
Abdul Wahab Al-Dabbagh, on the loss of his father. While we
suffice by mentioning it, we hope that God covers
the deceased with His vast mercy and inspires
his son and family with patience and solace.
A contemporary colloquial poem in lamentation of the firefighters who
met their deaths during their glorious struggle while
extinguishing the fire that broke out in a Jewish Khan
in Bab Al-Agha. We regret that Al-Yaqdha is not
accustomed to publishing colloquial poetry, despite its appreciation
for the feelings and poetic talent of the folk poet.

to Al-Yaqdha. It is a poem of pride and enthusiasm from
his diwan - Flowers of the Countryside - which is ready for printing.
We would have liked to publish such a poem,
but before the Palestine catastrophe. As for now,
no Arab has the right - in our view - to take pride
in poetry or prose until the Arabs take their revenge,
and wash away their shame in Palestine. So, our apologies
to our literary poet!

There is nothing new in what Senator Ezra Menachem said in the Senate regarding the draft
appendix to the Law for the Revocation of Citizenship, as he had previously raised more than a year ago in the Senate
a fuss about Zionism and the alleged persecution of Jews in Iraq. We have also previously
refuted his claims. And here he is returning today once again, emphasizing his first tone
by exonerating the Jews of what was attributed to them, placing responsibility on others, complaining for them,
and weeping over them. He brings nothing new in this regard, as Jewish propaganda
all over the world has persisted in showing Jews wherever they are as the oppressed
and persecuted, to elicit sympathy. The Jews are among the most capable creatures at deception,
stubbornness, flipping facts, and defying realities!
So it is no wonder if we hear Senator Ezra Menachem say: "I do not wish to delve
into the search for the lack of reassurance and stability among the Jews of Iraq, as there is no doubt
that it was not hidden from anyone. History will reveal the true reasons for this migration,
and it will become clear that the Jews of Iraq have no connection to the incidents that
our fellow citizens complain about!!!"

sources in Cairo, that the conference of Egypt's
diplomatic representatives in major capitals has
discussed relations between Egypt and Britain
from political and economic aspects, including
the issue of sterling balances that
Egypt has with Britain. It was said that the conference
pointed to the necessity of taking effective measures
to eliminate propaganda directed against Egypt from
abroad and giving broader powers to Egypt's
diplomatic representatives in the capitals.
The Shah of Iran visits Dacca

His Majesty the Shah of Iran arrived in the city of (Dacca) in East Pakistan yesterday afternoon on
board a private plane, accompanied by the Governor-General of Pakistan. He was welcomed upon arrival
by a large crowd of people exceeding one hundred and fifty thousand. When the Regional Governor
of East Pakistan and the Prime Minister of the province stepped forward to shake hands with the Shah, cannons began firing twenty-one
rounds as a salute to the Iranian guest. The Regional Governor held a party in the afternoon
in the open air in honor of the Shah.
A new fistfight in Parliament

⟦illegible⟧ the French to the meeting
in history, and if this accusation was against someone as final ⟦illegible⟧ said at other times
(Real!) other than what all people knew?
We do not deny the research into these reasons, and they are truly worthy of research. For
the Jews lived under the protection of the Arabs for many generations, and long eras, in the abundance
of blessings, until they preferred them over themselves, and enabled them in everything in the facilities of their countries
and their sources of livelihood when they were outcasts of nations and displaced from the horizons among other peoples
in the West. The situation remained in this manner until a few years ago, so what happened?
It happened that the Jews turned entirely to invading Palestine, usurping it, and expelling
the Arabs from it after they committed the most heinous atrocities, and let Senator Ezra Menahem remember
that he was the one who established a history for Zionism in Iraq since the beginning of the British occupation.
And let him also remember that Zionism played a dangerous role in Jewish institutions and among
their ranks since then, i.e., more than 30 years ago, and this means that the Jews in Iraq
have contributed a great deal to the establishment of the national home and the establishment of the Jewish state, and the
Senator Ezra knows that this contribution was not limited to donating huge sums of money to Tel Aviv
nor the establishment of colonies and the founding of companies in the names and funds of Iraqi Jews. And who
knows that the dancer Salima Murad, for example, owns 40 percent of the shares of the oil company in
Palestine. Rather, the contribution went beyond money to volunteering with lives to fight the Arabs
and we now have a quantity of IDs of the young Iraqi Jews who were killed in the ranks of
the Haganah, taken from them during the battles, and among them were some girls. This is in addition to
the weapons and explosives that were smuggled to Tel Aviv and which were seized in Jewish houses
in Baghdad specifically. And the case of (Adas) is more famous than to be mentioned, for even tanks were smuggled to
Tel Aviv. The Jews of Iraq were rewarded for their great services to Tel Aviv
by appointing two or three ministers from among them, and we mentioned their names on previous occasions!
This is from the general side. As for inside Iraq, they have done wonders in every
aspect of life in it, as they put a hellish plan to control the economic facilities,
and seize lands and financial shares and speculate with them until they raised
their prices to an imaginary level, so they disrupted the economic situation, and confused the movement of
trade, and paralyzed activity, and challenged public opinion and provoked it in a way that has no
precedent in every small and large thing, so much so that a Jewish employee in the treasury was driven by his subconscious
mind to write in his handwriting on official papers (Donkey Rescue Stamp) instead of
the word Palestine, in addition to other things that would take a long time to explain. This is some of all that if we devoted
a large volume to it, it would not contain their atrocities. Is it said after this that the Jews of Iraq
have no connection to the painful events that Iraqis complain about, which are events the least
they can be described as is (High Treason). So if the government took a disciplinary measure
against this blatant treason other than what the minds of officials came up with by stripping
citizenship from those who fled and did not return, and those who wish to emigrate from the country,
while the Iraqis themselves endured colors of harm just for the suspicion that they
threaten public comfort, in circumstances less important than these circumstances for the interest of the country

Pediatrics Conference
The Ministry of Social Affairs has agreed to
participate in the pediatrics study conference
which will be held in Paris during next month
for a period of four months to study abnormal cases
affecting children. The aforementioned ministry
has written to the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers
requesting its approval for Iraq's participation in
these studies and the nomination of two doctors for that.
In our Foreign Legations
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has agreed to rent
an independent building in New Delhi to be used as
a headquarters for the Iraqi legation there. Also,
political relations will return between Iraq
and Italy soon by establishing two legations
for the two countries here and there.
The Jewish Bomb Case!
The officer of Bab al-Sheikh station is still
continuing his investigations and inquiry into the bomb incident
which exploded several days ago near the
Al-Firdous Cinema when Nazima Salih fell
to the ground.
Statements from a large number of
witnesses have been recorded, who confirmed that the accused was
hiding the bomb under her abaya, given that there was
no passerby or car in the street
at the time of its explosion. The aforementioned accused
was discharged yesterday from the hospital and transferred
to general detention by order of the investigating judge.
In a future issue, we will publish new details about
this incident and the report of the technical expert Dr.
Kawi regarding the shrapnel found near
the accused.
Agha Taj Muhammad Khan
Mr. Agha Taj Muhammad Khan,
Professor and Registrar of Sindh University
and the Pakistani member of UNESCO in
Paris, will arrive in the capital on Friday morning
around ten o'clock while on his way to London.
The great professor is one of the major scientific
personalities and well-known nationalists in Pakistan.
He has previously rendered great services

Boycott them as they have boycotted you!

The Arab nation has never been afflicted by a calamity in ancient and modern history like
its affliction with the Jews now. Empires and states have tried to colonize the Arab
lands, or subject them to their political and economic influence, but they were not able to
make the Arab world a colony for them. Rather, the Arabs were able to prove their existence
and struggle against their colonizers until they were able to expel them from their lands or at least weaken
their influence. However, colonialism in its various forms does not mean the displacement of the people of the land
from their countries and replacing them with a people foreign to them. As for our situation with the Jews today,
it differs from everything we have known in history, and from all that we have known of the concepts
of colonialism and exploitation.
For the Jews are a people unlike any other among the nations; the world spat them out and nations expelled them,
so they all headed out not to take revenge on those who spat them out and expelled them, but to invade the Arabs who had treated them
well. It is a unique invasion of its kind, an invasion aimed at expelling the inhabitants from their homes, looting
their money, killing them, and violating their honor so that they can replace the original inhabitants.
And this is exactly what happened in Palestine only a year ago!
And looted, stricken Palestine is not the entire goal that the Jews seek to
achieve in their organized invasion. Rather, it is the point of (leverage) from which they will leap to the rest of
the neighboring Arab countries first, and what lies beyond them second, and so on. Perhaps researching
this is redundant, as everyone knows what the Jews aim for, and what they are plotting
for the Arabs. And here we are hearing from the vagabonds who decided to emigrate from Iraq
to Hell, addressing their brothers and relatives saying: Farewell, we shall return to you as conquerors!
This may be idle talk and pipe dreams, but it is in any case
an expression of what is going on in their minds. We have seen them saying and doing, while we say and do
not. And here they are today waging against us in every one of our countries an economic war
alongside the war of nerves. We were not oblivious to this; we have previously sounded
the alarm bell, and warned the nation of what surrounds it until our pens wore out, our inkwells dried up,
and our voices became hoarse. Some officials used to accuse us of exaggeration, and some accused us of bias
until the event occurred, and the facts were revealed to be worse than they imagined. It used to
sting our hearts that our people were so well-intentioned and negligent to this extent!
The Jews have usurped the heart of the Arab world, and established for themselves in it a national
home, and set up a Zionist state. Nothing remains but for them to strip the Arabs of the last dirham
they own, through what they display in the markets of junk and old furniture, worn-out pots,
and broken tools, and to surround these (public auctions) with fabricated propaganda
that attracts the naive among the people, thinking they are buying them at low prices. We were horrified by
what we saw of people crowding around those auctions, not realizing that they carry diseases to
their health, including microbes of tuberculosis, syphilis, and other diseases,
and not realizing that they are being sold to them at double their prices, and not realizing that any dirham
they pay to the Jews will return to them with woe and destruction as it will turn into bullets directed
at the chests of the Arabs. And a weapon with which their country is invaded.
Regardless of all this, why this reckless rush, O people, to buy
the old furniture of the Jews? They are forced to sell it at any price because they have decided to
emigrate from Iraq to Hell, and it is difficult for them to take it with them. So be patient for a while; you will get
your desire from what they leave behind at the lowest prices. Do not rush and do not be deceived by tempting advertisements
that push you to buy from Jewish auctions so that they can rob you
of the last dirham you have!
O Iraqis, open your eyes very wide. The English deceived you with the ruins
of the worn-out war, and you lost much of your monetary wealth as a price for those ruins that
weighed like grief on your hearts, and you lost and regretted after it was too late - so do not be deceived now
by the ruins of the Jews in public auctions, knowing that these will remain for you in any case.
Every one of you must make others understand this clear fact.

and from the closest points linked to commercial
and economic circles in Baghdad, lies
the shop of Yousif Haskeel the Jew, who
was accused dozens of times of communism
and of his connection to the dissolved League for Combating Zionism
and was detained several times on these charges.
And beside him is the shop of his father, Haskeel Al-Saraf,
and adjacent to his father is his brother Sami Haskeel,
at the head of Al-Samawal Street
opposite the Rafidain Bank. As for what
these three practice, it is performing
public money-changing activities. We have been informed that these
three have prepared their shops
as a center where Jews of all kinds head,
Zionists and spies intending to escape

The disease strikes an entire family
Following the resignation of the opposition deputies from the Chamber of Deputies
and the Independence Party holding a meeting
to look into what led to the resignation of the respected deputies
mentioned, public opinion took a very strong interest
in this case, which is considered, relative to
the current situation, serious, as it has not been customary
for 36 deputies to resign from the Council all at once
because two deputies from different sides
were supported by titles, and in the Iraqi Chamber of Deputies
there are many precedents indicating the occurrence of
incidents that reached the stage of
clutching by hands and approached
physical altercations. Also, international parliaments have
greater than this, as there they may clash
individually and in groups, and this does not necessitate
the resignation of a deputy or deputies, for when a deputy
disagrees with another deputy on a political matter
and this dispute develops into a quarrel,
the rest of the deputies each defend the deputy who is
with them with argument, and they may or may not be able
to reconcile.
And what happened in our Council is neither strange nor
unprecedented, for if a deputy resigns
from the Council, his resignation is not completed merely by
submitting it; rather, the Council must approve
this resignation. We also believe that
the respected members of the Iraqi Chamber of Deputies do not
neglect deputies famous for their political
shrewdness, such as the independent opposition members,
nor do they agree to their withdrawal from the Council
because the existence of the opposition is a basic condition in
parliamentary councils, as His Excellency Al-Suwaidi said.
However, the Iraqi youth understood that this
resignation had been accepted, and this acceptance provoked them,
at a time when we deny the truth of what was rumored about
the acceptance of the resignation of the opposition deputies from the Chamber of Deputies,
as the Council has not yet looked
into this resignation.
These rumors, which provoked the youth, had
a very bad effect, as about a hundred students gathered near
the Sharia College in Al-Adhamiya
yesterday morning (Wednesday)
carrying slogans on which was written:
"The people are above all" and "Down with
the government of hired tyrants," and they marched
crossing Imam Al-Adham Street heading towards
Bab Al-Muadham while they were clustered, just as about a hundred
other students from Al-Adhamiya Secondary School had gathered
near the College of Law,
having folded their slogans, waiting for the arrival of
the Sharia students to join them. They were also
trying to get the Law College students to
join the demonstration, but the Law students
refused to join, which led to a
dispute between the college and secondary students, and the dispute
developed into insults between some of them and
almost turned into a fight. As for the slogans of
the Al-Adhamiya Secondary students, they were "We demand
freezing Jewish funds" and
"The road to a homeland is not alone,
all people must have unity."
The personal assistant to the Director of Baghdad Police
and the assistant of the Waziriyah police hurried to the students gathered near
the College of Law to disperse them,
noting that they did not bring police personnel with them,
and the demonstration dispersed immediately
upon their arrival.
As for the demonstration of the Sharia College students, it
continued marching until it reached the square
located near the Olympic Club, and there the personal assistant
to the Director of Baghdad Police and the assistant of Al-Adhamiya police
caught up with it, where the demonstrators dispersed
as soon as they saw them, thinking that
behind them was a police force. Upon the return of
the demonstrators after their dispersal, the Farouk station police
arrested four of their leaders,
who are Messrs. Jalil Muhammad Al-Samarrai, Ibrahim
Munir Al-Mudarris, Abdul Majid Al-Alousi,
and Ja'far Muhammad Ali. We wish to discuss the slogans of
our demonstrating brothers and the reasons for their demonstration.
The slogan (The people are above all) is not
new; it is the reality, and we are surprised that
anyone would argue with them about its truth. Some members
of the current government have previously
declared the reality that the people
are above all, and we would like to know from them who
said that the people are not above
all?!
As for the slogan (Down with the government of hired
tyrants), there is some injustice toward the
current government, as we, and they with us,
witness the efforts exerted by the existing government
for the sake of the people's comfort and tranquility,
and we touch, and touch nothing else,
upon public morals and its work in combating
prostitution, gambling, bribery, and striking the hands of
extortionists and helping the needy, as is evident
in housing the residents of shacks in areas
far from danger and providing pure water
and electricity for them. This does not indicate that
a government doing these works aimed at
the public good is a government of tyrants. As for their saying
"hired," it is true, as the members of the current government
receive salaries from Iraq, not
from others, and they serve the Iraqi people,
no one else; thus, the Iraqi people have hired and employed them
to serve them, and some of the wages
and they have served it well.

and we believe that a statement will be issued, if it has not
already been issued, in this regard.
This is a small word we direct to the opposition
and the demonstrators, hoping that we have succeeded
in what we aimed for in writing it, and God is
behind the intent.

In view of the issuance of the law supplementing the decree on the revocation of citizenship and to ensure the implementation of the provisions
of the Foreign Exchange Control Law, the Foreign Exchange Control Committee has decided to allow
Jews whose citizenship is revoked under the above law to take with them
nominally in easy property what is equivalent to the following amounts when they leave Iraq permanently:
A - Twenty dinars for a Jew aged ten years and under.
B - 30 dinars for a Jew whose age is more than ten years and less than
twenty years.
C - 50 dinars for a Jew aged twenty years and above.

Al-Fath: The Jews will not be so foolish as to consult the Foreign Exchange
Department to obtain permission to take out the amounts, for they smuggle them months and weeks before traveling.
Limiting these amounts will not shed enough light on the essence of this issue, so it is necessary to
take extreme caution regarding Jewish attempts whose paths are hidden from no one, in order to
protect national wealth from leaking abroad.
Withdrawal of the Endowments Bill
We have learned that His Excellency Mr. Jamil
Al-Orfali, Minister of Endowments Affairs, has
signed a letter withdrawing the Endowments Law bill
from the Chamber of Deputies, in response
to the request of the religious scholars.
We can say that His Excellency Al-Orfali
has thereby left a good impression on the scholars,
as he stood by them against those whose
main concern was to eliminate religious activities
and exclude men of religion from the path.
We would like on this occasion for the government to form
a committee of religious men to correct
the errors of the bill and direct it toward the interest

Another Proof...
The issuance of the law supplementing the decree
revoking Iraqi citizenship from Jews
fleeing or those who wish to leave
Iraq had a deep resonance and a prominent impact among
all classes of the nation, and was met with satisfaction
greatly by all those familiar with the movements
of the Jews who were determined to leave
Iraq through illegal means, for
this law has put - as we said before -
an end to these movements and eliminated the gangs
that were working night and day to smuggle Jews,
as it also removed the danger of the remaining elements who do
not feel toward the country the feelings of a correct
citizen.
And while public opinion glorifies the successful
step of the government in enacting this
law and its resolution of this complex knot
which was the preoccupation of the people and which
previous governments were unable to put
an end to, we say despite this, this law was
met by some parties with what is not
consistent with the desire of the nation, for it was said it is a privilege
for the Jews that helps them transfer national wealth to
the destination they intend, and this statement, although
responded to in a reassuring manner during
the discussions that took place around the bill in
parliament where the government clarified
the legal guarantees that prevent the transfer
of wealth in addition to the strict and firm
measures taken to combat the smuggling
of this wealth through criminal methods, yet
some tongues continued to repeat their fears for
the country's wealth in a manner that lacks proof
and is not based on reality.
The truth is that the proud people who
perceived with keen insight characterized by experience the danger
of forcing the Jew who does not wish to
stay to remain, and appreciated the distant warnings
resulting from the situation remaining as it was
at a time when the floods of escapees
were increasing day by day, these
alert people were of great confidence and faith that
the government which arms itself with determination and takes
wisdom and whose heart is filled with sincerity for the homeland
and its children, as long as it has been able to
take the first step and decide with pride
and dignity to rise above considering the Jew who
lives bodily here but with his heart, mind,
and feelings in another country as a citizen
like other citizens, is also capable
and with all certainty to take all that is necessary
to protect the country's wealth and strike with strength
and firmness every hand that tries to violate
one penny of its public wealth, and in
light of this faith and this confidence, all that
was said in this regard evaporated and there was no longer
any way for those words to find a path to the ears.
We had hoped that those crying
over public wealth would realize the reality of the general feeling
which was reassured that there is no fear for this
wealth, and although what circulated around this
point was clear to an extent that
instilled confidence in souls, the logic of
fallacy insisted on proceeding on its
prescribed path without regard for the truth
of the matter and without realization of the results of this
fallacy for public opinion.
We do not in fact want to dwell
on the matter - and its scope is wide - out of our
desire for brevity, but we would like
to ask what the opponents of this
law see, those who took crying
over the country's wealth as material for their opposition after
the Foreign Exchange Control Committee statement was issued
which specified the amounts allowed
for each Jew planning to leave Iraq,
Is there not in this statement what cuts
the rope of opposition and closes the outlets
of speech before it and places in the hands of the nation's individuals
another practical proof of the determination of the existing
government to ensure the country's economic
safety and its vigilance in guarding the public
wealth?...
The truth.. is that the government, in enacting the
aforementioned law, took, as expressed by public opinion,
a sound and wise step toward
the elements whose presence in the
country became a danger threatening its general existence, and to the extent
of the success it achieved in that step,
is the extent of what it achieved in the Foreign Exchange Control
Committee statement which - although we did not see
a need for it - came as a conclusive argument against
whoever took fallacy as a tool, which is all
the credit they have..!!
Jews are selling pharmacies
Jews have offered several pharmacies for sale
including the license and medicines at a low price
and this indicates the determination of the Jews to
migrate en masse to Israel, and we
wonder where the proceeds of these pharmacies
and medicines go?
