4/1/1948 Decision Based on the issuance of Royal Decrees appointing their Eminences the Rabbis to their new positions and determining their monthly allowances at the rate of twenty dinars for members of the Court of Cassation and twenty-five dinars for members of the Court of First Instance, effective from 6/1/1948, the Lay Council has decided the following: First - The difference between their original salaries and the allowances paid to them by the Ministry of Justice shall be paid starting from the date mentioned above until the end of March 1948.
