Based on the travel of Rabbi Yusuf Dori, one of the slaughterhouse's slaughterers, outside Iraq, we request the favor
of approving the nomination of Rabbi Ishaq Eliyahu in his place with a monthly salary of five Dinars, and adding to them
cost-of-living allowances at the prescribed scale, provided that the difference between the salary of Rabbi Yusuf Dori and Rabbi
Ishaq Eliyahu be given to Moshe Al-Hallas for the fees of inspecting sheep lungs.

Based on your council's acceptance of the resignation of Sassoon Hakham Salman from his position at the slaughterhouse, we hope you will kindly
approve the nomination of Moshe Nissim Moshiach in his place with a monthly salary of four dinars, to which shall be added the
cost-of-living allowance at the prescribed rate, provided that the difference between the salary of Sassoon Hakham Salman and Moshe Nissim Moshiach
be given to Ezra Mordechai as a pension for him in view of his long service at the slaughterhouse.
We hope you will kindly approve this, and the matter is yours.

Administrative Order
After reviewing the two letters from the Spiritual Council and the Slaughterhouse Presidency dated 48/5/20
and 48/5/16, it was decided to approve the following:
1 - Termination of the services of Rabbi Yusuf Nouri from the slaughterhouse and the appointment of Rabbi Isaac Eliyahu
in his place with a nominal salary of five dinars, to which cost-of-living allowances are added.
2 - Granting Moshe Eliyahu monthly allowances in the amount of two dinars from the cost-of-living wages in the Presidency
of Departments.
3 - Appointing Moshe Naeem Moshe as a slaughterer in the slaughterhouse in place of Rabbi Sassoon Rabbi Salman,
who resigned, with a nominal salary of four dinars per month, to which cost-of-living allowances are added according to the scale set
for the community's employees.
4 - Granting Ezra Mordechai, the former employee in the Israeli slaughterhouse, a pension salary of
(1.750 dinars) one dinar and seven hundred and fifty fils, to which cost-of-living allowances are added,
in view of his previous services in the slaughterhouse and his old age.
5 - This decision shall be implemented as of the first of May 1948.

The Council reconsidered its decision No. (4) paragraph (1 and 2) taken in the session of 1948/4/1
and decided to consider the salaries and cost-of-living allowances for the presidents and members of the Religious Courts of Cassation and First Instance as
written below, provided that the allowances granted to each of them by the Ministry of Justice shall be deducted from the nominal salary,
amounting to twenty Dinars for each of the President and two members of the Court of Cassation, and fifteen Dinars for each of the President and two members
of the Court of First Instance.
