Administrative Order
Further to our administrative order No. 173 dated 24 / 8 / 1954, the Property Committee must follow the following instructions:-
1 - The accountant and the property collector shall not renew any contract whose legal term has expired under the Rent Decree before presenting it to the Secretary to obtain written approval from the Chairman of the Administrative Committee.
2 - If one of the tenants is late in paying the installments and the legal period specified in the Rent Decree has passed, the accountant and the collector shall not receive the installment before obtaining our written approval through the Secretary.
3 - In cases of delay in paying installments or delay in renewing the contract, the Property Committee must inspect the leased property and submit its report on the true value of the consideration within a period not exceeding 15 days from the date of the end of the contract and the due installment.
4 - The accountant and the property officer must submit, within one month from the date of this order, all contracts that were not renewed at their legal times and whose installments were delayed, and the Property Committee must submit a statement of their true rental values.
5 - The Property Committee shall submit reports and statements directly to the Secretary of the Administrative Committee, who in turn submits them to the Chairman of the Committee. All reports shall be signed by all members of the Property Committee after being inspected by them collectively and personally.
6 - All financial damages resulting from non-compliance with these instructions due to the negligence or omission of the employee, the negligent or remiss employee shall guarantee what the community may incur in material damage as a result of this negligence.
