Subject Summary: Administrative order regarding the Ezra Menachem Daniel Endowments
With reference to the decision of the Lay Council taken in its session held on 13 / 6 / 1952, following what was decided in
its session held on 6 / 6 / 1952.
1 - Mr. Munir Dakkour is appointed as an assistant to the trustee of the Ezra Menachem Daniel Endowments (the Lay Council) and is assigned the following duties:-
A - Negotiating with the tenants of the aforementioned endowments regarding rental rates and terms, and presenting the results of his negotiations to the trustee in preparation
for concluding lease contracts, which require the signature of the trustee himself for their execution.
B - Collecting the rents of the aforementioned endowments on their due dates and handing them over to the community administration for deposit at the Ottoman Bank in
the special account for these properties.
C - Assisting the trustee in managing and utilizing these endowments.
D - Carrying out necessary repairs and renovations by special assignment from the trustee based on his proposal.
E - Controlling and organizing the endowment accounts in participation and cooperation with the community administration.
2 - The community secretary shall assist the assistant trustee in the tasks assigned to him mentioned in paragraph (E) above.
3 - The community administration shall maintain the necessary records and ledgers for managing the affairs of these endowments and controlling their accounts.
4 - In implementation of the endowment terms, a special account shall be opened at the Ottoman Bank in the name of "Ezra Menachem Daniel Endowments" in which the revenues
of these endowments shall be deposited, provided that withdrawals from it are in accordance with the standard withdrawal procedures for the Lay Council's account at the said bank.
5 - The commission for the assistant trustee shall be four percent of the annual revenues, and for the secretary, one percent thereof.
6 - The assistant trustee, in cooperation with the community secretary, shall submit a report on these endowments and their rental amounts to the Lay Council.

First - The first installment, which is the rent for the first year, shall be paid in cash upon signing the contract.

months from the date of occupancy by a promissory note.
Third - The third installment, which is the rent for the third year, shall be paid after twenty-
