Greetings,
With reference to your letter numbered L/748 and dated
11/17/1949.
The Council has approved the re-employment of Mr. Naji
Haytayat in the Dar Al-Shifa Clinic with a monthly salary of 20/- Dinars
(Twenty Dinars) to which is added the cost-of-living allowance in the amount of 6/250 Dinars
(Six and a quarter Dinars) starting from 11/22/1949.
As per the understanding with His Excellency the Chairman of your committee, his
services continued temporarily in the Community Administration starting from 11/22/1949
before noon, provided that his salary is paid by your esteemed committee.

Administrative Order
In view of the issuance of the obeyed Royal Decree accepting the resignation of His Eminence Rabbi Sassoon
Khedouri from the presidency of the Jewish Community in Baghdad, No. 700 dated 12/4/49
and notified to the Community Presidency by the letter of the venerable Ministry of Justice No. Q S/68 dated
12/13/1949 and received on 12/14/1949, we have decided the following:
A) To consider the position of His Eminence Rabbi Sassoon Khedouri terminated in the Community Presidency
as of the afternoon of 12/14/1949.
B) His salary shall be paid in full until the end of December 1949.
C) The fixed car allowance, estimated at -/30 Dinars (thirty
Dinars) per month, shall be paid to him until the end of December 1949.
D) The car belonging to the Community Presidency shall be deposited with the Khedouri and Ezra Mushir
Lawi Company for the Community's account as a trust.
