Furthermore, you have undoubtedly heard the news of the death of my late father, Rabbi Lev Sid, and his death came as a devastating blow to me, as I am currently a teacher at the Sassoon Saleh School with a monthly salary of seven dinars only, while I am the head of a family consisting of twelve members, including six daughters and four sons, whom my late father used to support. My family has become threatened with destitution and starvation after the death of my father and the loss of this resource that we relied upon after God Almighty. Therefore, I have submitted this petition to Your Excellency to look upon our case with an eye of kindness and mercy, and to help this family which has been afflicted by the loss of its most precious possession in existence, and to order the payment of my father's salary as a pension, in appreciation of the miserable situation that now threatens us and for the services rendered by my late father to the community, which I am honored to have served in the field of education for a period exceeding twenty years and will continue to serve as long as I live. Your Excellency This is my case, which I have explained to you briefly, out of my confidence that your honorable council has worked and will always work to serve the community and its sincere working members.
